Bottom line: there aren’t any exclusively vegan restaurants in Watford (we’ve done the research), so this list includes regular restaurants with vegan menus. There was an exclusively vegan restaurant in Watford called Mood, but it closed. You might go vegan for several reasons, including your health, the planet’s health and animal welfare. According to an […]

Camping near Bradford-on-Avon on our first camping trip now the COVID-19 lockdown routines have started to ease. The trip was overdue, incredibly welcome and was dual purpose – to camp and to celebrate our friend’s 40th birthday. We booked the campsite ages ago in the hope it would be open.
We have big news! We’ve had quite the year at The Bumper Crew, so here’s a post about our year in numbers. From 1 to 65000, read the post to find out what the numbers mean and what the big news is.

H-Division Shoreditch is London’s Victorian cocktail bar. It’s an immersive cocktail experience themed after a Victorian-era police station that’s centred around one of the world’s most infamous serial killers – Jack the Ripper., and a must-do if you’re in Shoreditch!
We thought we’d put together a year-in-review for 2021. It’s travel-related, but it’s about our lives as well. You may not know the real ‘us’, so hopefully this will shed some light on who we are, what we do, and where we want to be in the future. Do you remember, back in the day, […]

What do you do when you have a free weekend off and a couple of days off the following week? You book a weekend break to wonderful Warsaw, of course! Our most spontaneous trip to date! I booked the flights in my lunch break on Friday afternoon and we flew at 0610 the follow morning. It just so happened Joel had a week off and I didn’t but after mentioning this to my boss he asked if I wanted a couple of days off, to which I said ‘yes’.
We went on a wonderful North Wales road trip in search of puffins! Join us on our journey and click to find out where we went and what we saw…

Tropicfeel shoes Canyon review…welcome to my Tropicfeel Canyon sneaker review. I will refer to them as trainers for the rest of the review!. Before I get into it, let’s look at what they are. Tropicfeel claim “Canyon is the all-terrain sneaker with 4-in-1 versatility: providing the benefits of aqua shoes, the comfort of sport shoes, the technical outsole materials of hiking shoes, and the styling of your favourite daily pieces.”
Spontaneous trips are always the best, right? Well, it was semi-spontaneous! We had planned to go to Snowdonia National Park to walk Snowdon (or ‘Yr Wyddfa’ for our Welsh-speaking friends). This was the first of the Three Peaks we want to walk. The others being Ben Nevis in Scotland and Scafell Pike in England. And what an adventure it was!

I read about this great little road trip on the north Cornish coast here and thought we’d give it a go. We lived in Plymouth at the time so it wasn’t not too far away to go for a quick weekend away. Stacey is from Cornwall but has never driven the road before. I’d go as far to say she’s seen more of Cornwall since we’ve been together than during her entire existence before we met.
A Scotland road trip Part 2! Welcome to part two of our Scottish road trip. Read to the bottom to find out how many miles we drove, how far we walked and how much we spent. We mentioned the blistering temperatures when we walked up Ben Nevis. Undoubtedly, we had the best of the weather on our Scotland road trip, with nothing but sun and warmth. Apart from at the top of Ben Nevis, of course.
A road trip to Scotland to the Argyll Coast! We finally made it! Tartan, whisky, highland coos (cows to the rest of us), castles and lochs…what could be more Scottish? This is the Argyll Coast, Scotland’s secret coast, and it’s full of everything Scottish.
Have you ever been Autograss Racing? No? Nor us. Life is all about new experiences, right? I (Joel) have a philosophy of “don’t knock it until you’ve tried it”. You don’t really know what something is like until you’ve tried it, like fishing. Fishing looked boring, but I couldn’t categorically say it was boring until I tried it. Trying it confirmed it was boring. Sorry, fishing fans! Ha! Anyway, we went to an Autograss racing weekend…
